Jennifer Smith

Jen Smith is a current SMMUSD parent and chair of the SMMUSD school board, where she focused on fiscal responsibility, closing the achievement gap, and ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities. A resident of Santa Monica since 1996, Jen has been involved in our public schools for over 15 years as a PTA leader, serving as Roosevelt, Lincoln and Santa Monica-Malibu PTA council President. She chaired the SMS Bond Campaign and GS/GSH campaign (education side). Prior to her election to the school board, Jen was active on the CEPS Steering Committee. We believe in her leadership, her knowledgability, and her dedication to informed policymaking.
