Anastasia Foster

Anastasia is a proud mom, an activist, a Meals on Wheels volunteer & a member of the PTA who loves the coastline that Santa Monica & Malibu share. She is dedicated to fostering opportunity for our youth, our workforce and our faculty through inspired and responsible leadership. Currently serving on the Santa Monica Rent Control Board, twice serving as Chair, Anastasia first got involved at SMC as a student, SMC General Advisory Board since 2017, SMC Foundation Bodega volunteer, and member of the Measure SMC bond 2022 committee. Anastasia is committed to partnering with the Board and Administration to increase enrollment, stabilize funding, increase the transfer rate and support SMC's goal of building housing for housing-insecure students and staff.

Anastasia holds a BA in History and Secondary Education from the University of Missouri.
