A local elected leader and workforce development expert for the County of Los Angeles, Caroline Torosis has dedicated her career to passing policies that protect the rights of our workers, consumers, and tenants while allowing our small businesses to promote a fair and vibrant marketplace where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Caroline is also strongly committed to maintaining a strong partnership between the City of Santa Monica and our public schools. This includes working collaboratively to continue the Master Use Facilities Agreement that provides crucial operational funds to serve our community's children.
Since 2016, Caroline has served the community as a Rent Control Board Commissioner. Caroline holds a BA from UCLA and a JD from Washington University in St. Louis.
